The music video titled Jocko Homo really grabbed my attention after watching the five that were listed. As a matter of fact, if this video was to get a bit more publicity among my generation nowadays I believe it would even have a chance of going viral.
There is definitely some important moments of this video to be looked at deeper. For instance, the beginning conversation between “Boogie” and what appears to be a military member of the United States Army. This scene leads me to believe that the rest of the video could be annotating something about a military operation or something of the sort.
A second important piece to capture is the scenery in which the rest of the video takes place. The fact that everyone is in mask and weirdly fashioned lab outfits gives the same feeling as to what they might be trying to tell us.
The most important piece for us take note of is the most obvious seen piece of information but may be the most easily missed as well. D.E.V.O is spelled out for us many times and most certainly is meant to send us a message. Now, it might be something as obvious as this was the name of the band, but to anyone who wants to look deeper into the video and song, it could very well be the scientific experimentation of De-evolution as spoken about in the beginning.
